The Exploring with Grace Jiu Jitsu fund offers opportunities for youth in underserved communities to have access to Jiu Jitsu. By providing assistance for children to have Jiu Jitsu instruction, the fund honors the memory of Grace Lewis and ensures those that are underserved will have access to Jiu Jitsu instruction which provides physical, mental and emotional well being to those children who would otherwise not have access to Jiu Jitsu. This past year the fund purchased mats that could be easily moved so that the instructors could transport them to underserved communities to instruct children in Jiu Jitsu. The fund provided instruction free of charge to those underserved children by traveling to and instructing them in their communities.
